- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup diced fresh peaches (or canned peaches, drained)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake filling)
- 1/4 cup sugar (for topping)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently.
- Fold in the diced peaches.
- Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool for a few minutes.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fill the cooled donuts with the cheesecake mixture.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon together. Roll the filled donuts in the mixture.
