- 8 ounces rotini pasta
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup croutons
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, salting the water for flavor. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, chopped romaine, and croutons.
- Drizzle Caesar dressing over the salad, starting with half and adding more to coat.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top, and toss gently to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
- If adding optional ingredients like chicken or bacon, toss them in now.
- Serve immediately, or chill for 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
