- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- to taste Cooking spray or olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, add the flour. Season it lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a third bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
- Take each chicken tender and coat it in flour first, shaking off the excess.
- Then, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Finally, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet, and lightly spray or drizzle olive oil on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
