  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or chives)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures your potatoes cook evenly and get that crispy skin.
  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly under cold water. Scrub away any dirt, then dry them with a towel.
  • Pierce each potato several times with a fork. This allows steam to escape while they bake, preventing any explosions!
  • Rub each potato with olive oil, then sprinkle them generously with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll the potatoes in the parmesan cheese until they are completely coated. This is where the magic happens!
  • Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
