Ingredients

  • 2 cups of pancake mix

  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheese (optional)
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain and set aside.
  2. Whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla in a bowl.
  3. Mix pancake mix and baking powder in another bowl, then combine with the egg mixture until just mixed.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer cooked sausage, and pour batter over it.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean.
