- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 package Oreo cookies (about 15 cookies)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Using a cookie scoop, take a small portion of dough and flatten it in your palm.
- Place an Oreo in the center and wrap the dough around it, sealing the edges.
- Place the stuffed cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
