- 2 fillets salmon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (for garnish)
- to taste Chopped green onions (for garnish)
- as needed Cooked rice or stir-fried vegetables (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, orange juice, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with a tablespoon of water and stir into the sauce mixture.
- Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and coat with the teriyaki sauce.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Prepare your rice or stir-fried veggies while the salmon bakes.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
