  • Total Time: 25

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (Penne or fettuccine recommended.)
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese (Freshly grated is best.)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (Minced.)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (Optional.)
  • Fresh parsley (For garnish.)

Instructions

  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring it to a boil. Stir in the pasta, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Reduce the heat to a simmer and cover the pot. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley. Enjoy your meal!
