- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey for a lighter option)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 8 oz pasta (like penne or rotini)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish (optional))
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the ground beef to the pot, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring it to a simmer.
- Add the pasta, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir well to combine.
- Cover the pot and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente.
- Once cooked, stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
