  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne works well)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 1 cup sautéed mushrooms or spinach (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the pasta, broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is cooked and has absorbed most of the liquid.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Mix well until creamy and smooth.
  • If using, add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor and nutrients.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!
