- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 cups beef broth
- 8 ounces pasta
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and bell pepper, sautéing for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the pot, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, and stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then add your pasta.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.
- Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
