  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • In a large pot, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and bell pepper, sautéing for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  • Add the ground beef to the pot, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Pour in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, and stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then add your pasta.
  • Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
