- 2 large ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1/2 cup sugar (can substitute with brown sugar)
- 1/3 cup melted butter (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Nutella (for swirling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas with sugar and melted butter until smooth.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Scoop about a tablespoon of batter into each muffin cup, then add a teaspoon of Nutella on top.
- Swirl the Nutella gently with a toothpick or knife.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let them cool slightly before enjoying!
