- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium head cabbage (chopped)
- 1 large onion (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil (for frying)
- Green onions (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté until the onion becomes translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until it’s browned (about 5-7 minutes).
- Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet; stir well to combine with the beef.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), ginger, and sesame oil. Mix everything together.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender but still crisp.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy!
