  • 1 medium head cabbage (chopped)
  • 1 large onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil (for frying)
  • Green onions (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add onion and garlic; sauté until the onion becomes translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  • Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until it’s browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  • Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet; stir well to combine with the beef.
  • Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), ginger, and sesame oil. Mix everything together.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender but still crisp.
