- 3 tablespoons butter
- 10 oz mini marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup mint chocolate chips
Instructions
- Start by greasing a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Set it aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the mini marshmallows, and keep stirring until completely melted.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and add the mint extract. Mix well to combine.
- Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal to the melted mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
- Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and mint chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Press down firmly with a spatula to create an even layer.
- Let the treats cool for about 30 minutes before cutting them into squares. Enjoy!
