- 12 rolls Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- optional sliced ham or turkey for added protein
- optional garlic powder or herbs for extra flavor
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping them connected.
- Spread butter on the cut sides of each roll.
- Layer the shredded cheese evenly on the bottom half of the rolls.
- Cover with the top half of the rolls and place in a baking dish.
- Brush the tops with a bit more butter and sprinkle garlic powder or herbs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
