Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon matcha powder
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Pinch salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease four ramekins with butter, then dust them with flour.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the unsalted butter and white chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring in between.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until pale and slightly thickened (about 2-3 minutes).
- Stir in the vanilla extract and matcha powder into the egg mixture until fully incorporated.
- Slowly drizzle the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture while whisking continuously to prevent the eggs from cooking.
- Gently fold in the flour and a pinch of salt until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes until the edges are set but the centers are still soft and slightly jiggly.
- Let them cool for 1 minute before inverting onto plates. Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
