- 4 pieces bone-in chicken thighs (skin-on or skinless)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (for best flavor)
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional, for added tang)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
- Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure they’re well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving to lock in those juicy flavors.
