- 1 pound of fresh carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup of pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions
- Peel and cut the carrots into sticks.
- Boil the carrots in salted water for about 5 minutes until tender but crisp.
- Drain the carrots and set aside.
- Melt butter in a skillet, then add maple syrup, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and cinnamon; stir until bubbly.
- Toss the drained carrots in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until heated through and glazed.
- Serve the glazed carrots, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar and maple syrup according to your taste.
- For a different flavor, try adding a pinch of nutmeg along with the cinnamon.
