- 4 cups mashed potatoes (homemade or leftover)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, sour cream, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the crumbled bacon.
- Transfer the potato mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the top with mozzarella cheese and the remaining bacon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
