Instructions
- Prepare the mashed potatoes by boiling and mashing them with butter, salt, and pepper.
- Combine mashed potatoes, cheese, bacon, and green onions in a bowl.
- Form the mixture into golf ball-sized balls.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs; coat each ball in this order.
- Heat oil in a skillet and fry the balls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

- Feel free to customize with different types of cheese or add spices for extra flavor.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
