  • 4-5 lbs turkey breast (bone-in and skin-on)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 1 medium lemon (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary (chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried))
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme (chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried))
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth (for basting)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan. Carefully loosen the skin on the turkey breast and rub half of the garlic lemon mixture directly onto the meat. Spread the remaining mixture over the skin.
  • Arrange lemon slices on top of the turkey breast and pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste every 30 minutes with the pan juices.
  • Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Enjoy your delicious creation!
