  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they begin to turn pink.
  • Pour in the lemon juice and zest. If you like a bit of heat, add the red pepper flakes now.
  • Season with salt and pepper, and toss until the shrimp are fully cooked, about 2 more minutes.
  • Finally, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
