- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 lemon juiced and zested
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they begin to turn pink.
- Pour in the lemon juice and zest. If you like a bit of heat, add the red pepper flakes now.
- Season with salt and pepper, and toss until the shrimp are fully cooked, about 2 more minutes.
- Finally, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
