- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 2 tablespoons culinary lavender buds
- 1 cup sugar (or honey for a healthier option)
- 4 cups water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh lemon slices for garnish
- Lavender sprigs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the lavender buds. Bring it to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Add sugar (or honey) to the saucepan and stir until fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let steep for about 15 minutes.
- Strain the lavender syrup into a pitcher, discarding the lavender buds. Add the fresh lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir well.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh lemon slices and lavender sprigs if desired. Enjoy your refreshing drink!
