Quick, flavorful Korean Beef Bowls made with tender beef and fresh vegetables, perfect for busy weeknights!

  • Total Time: 30

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots (sliced)
  • 1 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • Green onions and sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch. Mix until smooth. This will be your marinade.
  • Add the sliced beef to the marinade, cover, and let it sit for about 15 minutes. This helps the flavors penetrate the meat.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  • Add the broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers to the pan. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
  • Serve the beef and veggies over cooked rice. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy your Korean Beef Bowls!
