- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (like ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (use any color you like)
- 1/2 cup onion, sliced
- 1 cup provolone or mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
- 4 large lettuce leaves (for wrapping)
Instructions
- Start by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté until they’re soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- Push the veggies to the side of the skillet, then add the beef. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Cook the beef until browned, stirring occasionally, about 8-10 minutes.
- Once the beef is cooked, stir in the cheese until melted. Remove from heat.
- Lay out the lettuce leaves and spoon the beef mixture onto the leaves.
- Roll up the leaves tightly, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
