A comforting dish featuring chicken breasts sautéed in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • Total Time: 30

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon juice of 1 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  • Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt completely.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes. You want it fragrant but not browned.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
  • Carefully place the chicken breasts into the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
  • If you’re using lemon juice, drizzle it over the chicken during the last minute of cooking.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. This helps retain the juices.
  • Serve the chicken drizzled with the garlic butter sauce and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
