- 1 cup hot Italian sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Cook the crumbled sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza dough to 1/4 inch thickness on a floured surface.
- Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and top with sausage, feta, mozzarella, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Drizzle honey over the hot pizza.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve hot.
