- 2 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce hot honey
- 2 ounces fresh mango puree
- 1 ounce triple sec
- Ice cubes
- Salt for rimming (optional)
- Fresh mango slices and lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Start by preparing your mango puree. Peel and chop a ripe mango, then blend it until smooth. This should yield about 2 ounces of puree.
- If you want a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the edge of your glass, then dip it into a plate of salt. Set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, hot honey, mango puree, and triple sec. Add a handful of ice cubes.
- Shake well for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is chilled.
- Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with ice (if you prefer it on the rocks).
- Garnish with fresh mango slices and a lime wedge. Serve immediately and enjoy!
