  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to taste Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
  • to taste Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Start by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then place it in the hot skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!
  • Stir in the hot honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Add the chicken back to the skillet, coating it well with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Serve it hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired!
