- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- to taste Salt and pepper
- to taste Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
- to taste Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Start by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then place it in the hot skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!
- Stir in the hot honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet, coating it well with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve it hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired!
