- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds (culinary grade)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, honey, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, dried lavender, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
