- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 lb sausage (sliced (preferably chicken or turkey sausage))
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Optional: sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by heating olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Next, add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Now, pour in the honey and soy sauce, tossing everything to coat evenly. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir to combine and cover the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes or until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds over the top before serving.
