Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (or green onions)
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in the honey garlic sauce until well coated.
- Serve the meatballs over a bed of rice, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Enjoy!
