Delicious honey garlic meatballs served over fluffy rice, perfect for a family dinner.

  • Total Time: 30

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (or green onions)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
  • While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in the honey garlic sauce until well coated.
  • Serve the meatballs over a bed of rice, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Enjoy!
