Ingredients
Scale
- 4 fillets salmon (about 6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This is crucial for achieving that perfect caramelization.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice. This will be your delicious glaze.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season them with salt and pepper.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, making sure each piece is well-coated.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork. The glaze should bubble and caramelize beautifully.
- Once cooked, garnish with chopped green onions if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
