- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey for a lighter option)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- to taste Chopped green onions (for garnish (optional))
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the honey garlic glaze. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- If you want a thicker glaze, mix cornstarch with a tablespoon of water in a small bowl and add it to the sauce. Stir until thickened.

- Serve the meatballs warm, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
