  • Total Time: 35

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey for a lighter option)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • to taste Chopped green onions (for garnish (optional))

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
  • While the meatballs are baking, prepare the honey garlic glaze. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • If you want a thicker glaze, mix cornstarch with a tablespoon of water in a small bowl and add it to the sauce. Stir until thickened.
  • Once the meatballs are out of the oven, toss them in the honey garlic glaze until well coated.
  • Serve the meatballs warm, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
