- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare chicken thighs.
- Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Rub chicken with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Marinate chicken with the honey garlic mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Bake chicken in a dish for 35-40 minutes until cooked through.
- Prepare rice according to instructions and keep warm.
- Baste chicken with reserved marinade 10 minutes before it’s done.
- Serve chicken over rice and garnish with green onions.

- Using chicken broth for rice adds extra flavor.
