Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/chicken for lighter option)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or panko for crunch)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Form the meat mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Cook the meatballs in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil (if using).
- Once the meatballs are cooked through, pour the honey garlic sauce over them. Let it simmer for about 5 more minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm. Enjoy!
