Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- for garnish fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until they’re golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).
- Once the pork chops are cooked, pour in the honey and soy sauce. Stir to combine and let it bubble for 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Remove from heat, and let the pork chops rest for a few minutes. This helps keep them juicy!
- Serve the pork chops drizzled with the honey garlic sauce and sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
