- 2 cups fresh peaches (peeled and sliced)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 ready-made pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the crust by placing it in a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until smooth.
- Add the heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, and salt, and mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in the sliced peaches until they're coated in the custard mixture.
- Carefully pour the peach and custard mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- Place the pie in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the custard is set.
- Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for at least an hour.
- Slice and serve warm or chilled, topping with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
