A quick and delicious stir-fry recipe featuring tender beef and fresh vegetables in a sweet hoisin sauce.

  • Total Time: 25

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces egg noodles or rice noodles
  • 8 ounces flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Optional: sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by cooking your noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  • Add the sliced onion, garlic, and bell peppers to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
  • Now, toss in the broccoli florets and continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Pour in the hoisin sauce and soy sauce. Mix well to combine everything, allowing the sauce to coat the beef and veggies.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together until heated through.
  • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
