  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  • Start by cooking the angel hair pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and allow it to melt.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Next, add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
  • Stir in the chopped parsley, basil, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to combine.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs if desired.
