- 8 ounces angel hair pasta
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- Start by cooking the angel hair pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and allow it to melt.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Next, add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
- Stir in the chopped parsley, basil, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to combine.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs if desired.
