A delicious and customizable grilled steak bowl topped with fresh veggies and a zesty sauce.

  • Total Time: 45

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak (or sirloin for a leaner option)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 cup corn (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 2 cups mixed greens (spinach, arugula, or lettuce)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the flank steak. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place the marinated steak on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  • Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for at least 5 minutes.
  • While the steak is resting, mix together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and grated ginger.
  • Slice the steak against the grain. In a bowl, layer mixed greens, corn, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and sliced steak. Drizzle the sauce over the top.
  • Serve and enjoy!
