- 1 lb flank steak (or sirloin for a leaner option)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 1 cup corn (fresh or frozen)
- 1 avocado sliced
- 2 cups mixed greens (spinach, arugula, or lettuce)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the flank steak. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the marinated steak on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for at least 5 minutes.
- While the steak is resting, mix together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and grated ginger.
- Slice the steak against the grain. In a bowl, layer mixed greens, corn, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and sliced steak. Drizzle the sauce over the top.
