Ingredients

  • 1 pound your favorite sausage (Italian, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a large bowl, toss the sliced peppers and onions with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Make sure they are well coated.
  • Place the sausages on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
  • In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the peppers and onions to the grill. Grill until they are tender and have nice char marks.
  • Once everything is cooked, remove from the grill and let the sausages rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Serve the sausages on rolls topped with the grilled peppers and onions. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
