- 1 pound your favorite sausage (Italian, chicken, or turkey)
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
- 1 green bell pepper sliced
- 1 large onion sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced peppers and onions with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Make sure they are well coated.
- Place the sausages on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
- In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the peppers and onions to the grill. Grill until they are tender and have nice char marks.
- Once everything is cooked, remove from the grill and let the sausages rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the sausages on rolls topped with the grilled peppers and onions. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
