Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated (optional))
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Skewers ((wooden or metal))
- Vegetables for skewering ((bell peppers, zucchini, onions – optional))
Instructions
- Start by making the marinade. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, making sure they’re well-coated. Cover and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, alternating with veggies if desired.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious grilled honey garlic chicken skewers!
