- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: garlic powder or Italian seasoning for added flavor
Instructions
- Preheat your grill over medium heat.
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and season with salt, pepper, and any additional spices.
- Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side, then flip.
- Add the sliced tomatoes and mozzarella on top of the chicken. Close the grill lid and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts and the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Remove from the grill and top with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.
