- 8 oz tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye is best)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper. Add to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove the steak and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked tortellini and sliced steak, tossing to combine.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and serve warm, garnished with parsley.
