  • 1 large green cabbage
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This temperature will help the cabbage get crispy.
  • Remove any tough outer leaves from the cabbage. Slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  • In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  • Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with the garlic oil mixture. Make sure they are well coated.
  • Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • Flip the steaks halfway through for even roasting. They should be golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  • Once done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
