  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water (about 110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Mix well.
  • Add warm water and olive oil. Stir until a dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  • Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into small pieces.
  • Roll each piece into a ball, and dip them in melted butter mixed with garlic.
  • Roll the dough balls in Parmesan cheese.
  • Place the coated dough balls in a greased bundt pan.
  • Cover the pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
