Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring the broth to a boil.
- Add the orzo pasta and cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- While the pasta cooks, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Once the orzo is cooked, drain any excess liquid and add it to the skillet with the garlic.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until the cheese is melted and the orzo is well coated.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!
