  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, egg, milk, salt, pepper, oregano, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf. Smooth the top for even cooking.
  • Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf for a flavorful glaze.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  • Once done, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
