- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, egg, milk, salt, pepper, oregano, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf. Smooth the top for even cooking.
- Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf for a flavorful glaze.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Once done, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
