A creamy and cheesy pasta dish featuring garlic, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese, perfect for a quick meal.

  • Total Time: 30

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Start by cooking the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they’re browned and tender.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the mixture.
  • Sprinkle in the shredded Swiss cheese and mix until melted and gooey. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the pasta melt to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
